EEUR to Regen Ledger via IBC

Greetings Regen-community,

Following the decision to adopt the “currency allow list” criteria guidelines set out in proposal 13, we in e-Money would like to move forward with a proposal to add our eEUR token to the allow list of the Regen network.

e-Money (www.e-money.com) has been working on adding trustworthy, transparent and asset-backed stablecoins to the Cosmos ecosystem and beyond since 2018. We have put in a lot of effort to be compliant with EU regulation and periodically publish proof-of-funds to document that the issuance is fully backed.

Is the token in question a currency?

eEUR is a fully collateralized, interest-bearing stablecoin. Proof-of-funds audits by EY are published periodically to substantiate this. Assets backing the issuance are kept as bank deposits or Euro government bonds.

Is the token in question IBC compatible?

Yes. the e-Money chain joined the IBC gang in September of 2021 (announcement post).

Is the token in question liquid, stable and safe to use?

e-Money is built on the values of transparency, compliance and being trust-worthy. We are maintaining pools on Osmosis that allows for entering and exiting through ATOM or OSMO.

Does the token support a good onboarding experience for non-crypto natives?

We recently partnered with Simplex to provide the option to purchase eEUR using credit cards. (announcement post)

In addition to this, we are also able to provide OTC sales and purchases for larger amounts.

Beyond that, the primary on/off ramp for eEUR should be considered Osmosis.

In addition to the three main criteria, proposal 13 also mentioned addit

Thanks for the great write up and for coming to the spaces event. I am really excited about the approach that e-Money has taken.
I hope that your team brings this onchain as a proposal.
