Community Spend Proposal: LiquidityDAO Emissions Transfer #1 (Aug 11–26, 2025)
This proposal represents the first routine emissions transfer from the Regen Network Community Pool to the Liquidity DAO, in alignment with the parameters approved in Proposal #52 and the original Liquidity DAO mandate established by Proposal #49.
As outlined in those proposals:
-
17% of Regen Network’s on-chain emissions are now directed to the community pool
-
15% of those emissions (i.e. 15/17) are earmarked for the Liquidity DAO
-
This mechanism was approved by community vote and is now being implemented through a series of scheduled spend proposals
This current proposal covers emissions accumulated between:
August 11, 2025 @ 00:49 UTC (when Prop #52 took effect) and August 27, 2025 @ 04:48 UTC
Using on-chain data collected via regen q distribution community-pool
and block timestamps, we tracked emissions growth in the community pool and calculated the Liquidity DAO’s share for this period.
Summary of Emissions & Calculations
-
Estimated pool balance at param change activation: ~3,479,880 REGEN
-
Current balance (Aug 26 @ 21:48 PT): ~3,682,691 REGEN
-
Total increase during period: ~202,811 REGEN
-
Liquidity DAO’s 15/17 share: ~178,951 REGEN
The spend proposal therefore requests the transfer of 178,000 REGEN to the Liquidity DAO’s treasury wallet. A small buffer was left for simplicity, and we’ll roll forward any minor remainder into the next proposal.
What to Expect Going Forward
This is the first of many regular emissions transfers to follow — each one corresponding to the DAO’s approved emissions share. The community has already voted on the parameters; the role of these proposals is simply to technically enact the transfers in a transparent, well-documented manner.
We will continue to post emissions tracking, calculations, and disbursement records for full transparency.
Please feel free to review the on-chain proposal here once it’s indexed and reach out with any questions.
