Engaging Influencers to Promote $REGEN and Expand Community Reach

Hello everyone, my name is Waheed Zafar an active supporter and believer in the mission of Regen Network. I’m deeply passionate about the positive impact $REGEN can create for the planet through regenerative finance and climate action. Objective:

This campaign would focus on strategic, value driven influencer partnerships that align with Regen’s vision and ethics. Influencers will help communicate Regen’s mission, ecosystem benefits, and token utility while driving engagement toward the official channels.

Research Plan

I will conduct a detailed analysis of influencers across Web3, climate tech, and sustainability communities. The process will include:
:white_check_mark: Identifying micro-influencers (10k–50k followers) charging around $30 per post
:white_check_mark: Finding mid-level influencers (50k–150k followers) charging $50–$70 per post
:white_check_mark: Sourcing advanced influencers (150k–500k followers) with pricing from $100+ per post
:white_check_mark: Evaluating engagement quality, content relevance, and audience authenticity
:white_check_mark: Creating a spreadsheet with full data analysis cost comparison, follower reach, engagement rates, and content performance projections.

This research will ensure we allocate funds efficiently and partner with voices that genuinely align with Regen Network’s values.

Timing Consideration:

We could ask community members for their take on the best timing for this campaign. There are two strong options:

a) Launch now, before the upcoming centralized exchange listings and regenerative.Fi incentive programs giving early alpha to influencers and creating pre launch anticipation.

b) Launch during the CEX listings and regenerative.Fi incentives, to amplify announcements and maximize overall impact.

Proposed Cost

The primary request is to allocate a $2,000-$5,000 REGEN budget dedicated to influencer partnerships covering mid to advanced level creators to ensure high quality and targeted promotion of the Regen ecosystem. This budget will fund influencer incentives, campaign tracking, and performance analysis.

In addition, I plan to contribute approximately 100 hours of work for research, coordination, negotiations, and reporting. For this effort, I am requesting a $1,000 REGEN grant, locked for one year, as a show of my long term commitment to Regen Network’s growth and success.

This budget range allows flexibility while maintaining accountability and clear reporting back to the community.

Lock Up Mechanism

To promote long-term commitment and prevent immediate token selling, influencers will agree to a one year token lock. Those who commit will receive a slightly higher reward, reinforcing their belief in $REGEN and its mission.

This approach helps stabilize token value and ensures influencers stay aligned with Regen’s long-term goals. Lock ups can be implemented through vesting accounts on Regen Ledger or via smart contracts on Base or Celo.

Expected Outcomes

This campaign is designed to not only raise awareness but also to attract new members, long term investors, and ecosystem collaborators who share Regen’s regenerative vision. By activating the right voices and building structured, data driven outreach, we can significantly expand Regen’s reach while reinforcing the mission of linking ecological health to real world value.

Thanks, Waheed. I know very little about the world of influencers, but I understand that this can be a powerful way to get more eyes on a project. I appreciate you putting this out there and committing to doing so much research and work to find which influencers may be best.

There is a lot in the works right now for Regen Network, liquidity expansion, regenerative.fi, dex listing, etc, and I am totally in favor of throwing this in the mix. The community fund is there to help us make Regen Network successful and purchasing some exposure sounds like a valid experiment to me.

At the current rate of $0.0082 per $REGEN, you are asking for a draw from the community fund of about 360,000 - 730,000 REGEN.
I suppose I would lean toward trying this out with the low to mid range of that ask.

Also, I can vouch for Waheed to the degree that I know he has been leaned in on Regen for at least six months, including being very active on X and chiming in occasionally on Telegram. I trust his genuine interest in the project and it’s goals.

Hey Waheed, you haven’t gotten much discussion here, but I have heard from a few people that they support your idea, so perhaps you should bring it to vote.
However, I have an idea for you for how to bring it to a vote.
I propose that you break it into two proposals. The first one, will be a community spend proposal that asks for about half of the amount that you are asking for in your proposal above. This would give you working capital and a sense that the community values your work and encourages you to move forward with this. It would also give you some REGEN to commit to your first couple influencers if you land on some that you believe are a good fit.

Then, once you have done your research and have come up with a clear action plan and proposal to the community about a full set of influencers that you want to engage, you could then post a second community spend proposal for the remainder of what you need to implement the plan, plus the rest of your compensation.

What do you think of that plan? I think that would allow you to go ahead and post the proposal and see where the community stands on something like this.

Thanks for your response and for starting this discussion. I’ve actually already begun working on it I’m in touch with a few influencers and will soon create a spreadsheet listing each influencer’s name, X handle, per-post rates, and other relevant details.

I’m happy to include any additional fields you think would be useful. Once again, I really appreciate your reply and the recognition of the effort going into scaling REGEN.

Update on Influencer Partnership Proposal

Hello everyone,

After reviewing feedback from the community, I’ve refined the proposal into a smaller, focused first phase to start gathering real data and results.

Phase One Plan

Work with 4–5 influencers in the Web3 and regenerative finance spaces.

Each influencer will post once every two weeks for four months (around 8 posts each).

This phase will help measure engagement, audience fit, and overall impact before scaling further.

Proposed Budget

$1,000 in REGEN for influencer partnerships.

$350 in REGEN for coordination, reporting, and campaign management.

This approach keeps things efficient, transparent, and aligned with Regen Network’s mission while giving us clear insight into the value of influencer driven outreach.

This sounds like a very reasonable place to start, Waheed.
I’m in favor and curious to see how effective a campaign like this might be and I’m guessing that the community is more likely to approve a project of this size.
I think you should go ahead and post it for community vote.

Hi James, thanks for voting, I appreciate your efforts I’m sharing list with you click on the link to see this list. I am adding more influencers to the list these are inital names and all of these are starting to mid range influecners I will collect more names who are having larger audience and more impact and currently getting higher tractions.
