Hey Regen community — sharing something we recently put on-chain, along with an open invitation.
Most of the ecological economy begins by selling the credit: the accounting artifact.
At EcoWealth, through the Ecological Work Protocol, we are testing the inversion:
Start with the job — a bounded piece of real-world ecological work. Define the method and proof requirements up front. Let a human or agent complete it and submit evidence such as photos, GPS data, and signatures. Settle the work, then let the credit or retirement emerge as the exhaust rather than the product.
Work first. Proof second. Credit last.
We have been authoring a large library of these work definitions: standards-mapped, method-backed, and mapped to tCO2e where the work supports a defensible ecological claim.
We recently anchored the library’s graph hash to regen-1 through x/data, creating a tamper-evident and independently verifiable record of the work catalog using the data-integrity primitive Regen built. The entire library can be anchored for pennies in gas.
We see this catalog as a field-MRV labor layer beneath credit issuance. Before a credit can represent ecological value, someone has to perform, document, and verify the underlying work.
The invitation is simple: this is one place where remaining REGEN can be put to work.
If you are building MRV systems, credit classes, or field-verification pipelines, we would like to collaborate on the bridge from verified field labor to credit issuance. We would also genuinely value scrutiny from the Regen community regarding both the anchor pattern and the honesty of the framing.
Settlement currently runs on Base. The durable integrity record lives on Regen.
