Lux8net Validator

Please tell us your validator moniker used for mainnet genTx and link to the github PR.

Please describe the setup you are using for your validator? Include any relevant security information, processor speed, backups and sentry nodes etc…

Regarding validator setup, I’ve follow the rule I’ve for all my validators in other networks - to have a fully synced backup node in a different datacenter paired with scripts for hot swap in emergency cases. For sure I’ve monitoring systems with alerts directly in telegram (which I use mostly and can be informed almost immediately) to take actions.

I know about sentry architecture on cosmos-based blockchains and tried it as well in other testnets but I personally prefer to have a backup node, because I see this option as more reliable not only in case of a potential attack, but also in case of any hardware failure.

Of course, we can create multi-validator setup behind multi-sentry nodes, but at this stage I consider these measures excessive.

Also, each server has a reliable intrusion protection system, correctly configured firewall and disabled rpc on the validator node.

We still have to work on the community question, because our Twitter is just starting to break up, but we are making efforts and doing regular token giveaways, which we get from our validator’s fee.

For example, if tokens can be used in some service, then we will give away part of our profits from validation to new users who want to try a new service without investing to begin with.
