Please tell us your validator moniker used for mainnet genTx and link to the github PR.
Please describe the setup you are using for your validator? Include any relevant security information, processor speed, backups and sentry nodes etc…
We run two bare metal machines, one in the US, one in Europe, in tier 3 DCs. Both machines have redundant power supplies and use enterprise NVME and HDD drives in RAID 1 (HDD drives are in a RAID 1+0 set), with ECC RAM. These servers run on Xeon 2176G and 2276G.
The sentries are in VMs in a mix of 3 different cloud providers, for a total of 3 sentries in 3 continents and connected to the validator via Wireguard. All sentries run on NVME disks.
In addition to RAIDed setup, we have daily backups via LVM snapshots (includes the chain data) to both RAID 1+0 and to a cloud provider. This backup is protected via open sourced, encrypted backup software (borgbackup.org)
The servers run Ubuntu 20.04 and are updated as needed (Apticron informs when an update is available)
Are you in some way trying to apply the high level application logic to create ecological credits. If so, please explain how.We have mentioned the project to a couple of colleagues (one is a small to medium operation in the Sacramento valley) and the other is an Urban Farming project in Los Angeles (maybe too soon for them to use the network at this point). We look forward to helping farmers in California make use of Regen Network. Please feel free to point them to us for implementations.
Are you working to engage a broader community? If so, please explain how.The folks in the Urban Farming project in Los Angeles are connected with ecologically conscious farmers in the US and abroad, and we look forward to exposing more of this network to Regen.
